Adoption from Serbia HOME

	CHILDREN AVAILABLE: One year and older, with Caucasian, and Mediterranean appearances. Sibling groups available. Testing for HIV, hepatitis and syphilis. Children will need medical and/or developmental intervention. Family can hire local doctor to assess child. More boys available than girls.
	TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Only one trip to Serbia required for approximately 3 weeks. Coordinators, drivers and translators will be provided.
	LENGTH OF PROCESS: Preparation of adoption dossier takes 2 – 3 months. Family will receive a referral usually within tow months after dossier is filed in Serbia. Parents travel 4 to 10 weeks later.
	ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Flexible, although generally there may be no more than a 45 year age difference between the adoptive mother and the child. Couples should be married for at least two years. Singles women are eligible.
	NOTE: We are very excited about this new adoption program in Serbia, working with a coordinator who has many years of experience with adoption in Romania and Ukraine.
