Bridge of Hope is open to the expansion of our program to other geographic areas. In order for this to happen, a dedicated group of local volunteers would have to meet the expansion guidelines set out on our web site, which includes information on fundraising, recruitment of host families, day camp scholarships, translators, and much, much more.

Bridge of Hope information packets for Summer 2008 are now available for mailing. If you're interested in applying to be a host family, please call 301/587-4400 or write to BOH Director Patrice Gancie at pgancie@cradlehope.org. BOH 2008 host regions will include: CT, Massachusetts, New Jersey/Pennsylvania, Long Island and Mid-Hudson New York, Washington DC metropolitan area, Midwest (based in Chicago), and SW Virginia. We are also working toward possible new regions in Florida and Kansas. Host families may participate in BOH if they live in neighboring areas within reasonable travel distance to regional centers. We will hold information sessions for prospective host families in our BOH regions in January and February.
Prospective host families are invited to attend an information session in their area.
